2016 RadarCat at UIST in Tokyo, Japan

RadarCat (Radar Categorization for Input & Interaction) was presented at UIST 2016 this week in Tokyo, Japan. RadarCat is a small, versatile radar-based system for material and object classification which enables new forms of everyday proximate interaction with digital devices. 2016 – Object Recognition with the Project Soli in St Andrews

Our lab (SACHI) in the University of St. Andrews last year applied for, and was selected to receive the Project Soli alpha developer kit along with 60 other groups around the world. Project Soli is a Radar based sensor that can sense micro and subtle motion of human fingers. You can see more about this project here: https://atap.google.com/soli/.
